Dressigo

How can we help?

Answers to common questions about Dressigo: cut-out and backdrops, Vinted, Leboncoin and eBay listings, posting, inventory, credits and account.

Photos

Does the app change my item?

No. Only the backdrop changes. Colours, stains, wear and flaws stay exactly as they are in your photo, and any brightness adjustment stays light. That's what protects the sale: the buyer gets what they saw.

How do I get a clean cut-out?

Frame the item closely and keep it well apart from the background, in soft light (near a window, out of direct sun). A plain background helps a lot; a busy background or a shot from far away gives a less clean edge.

Can I try another backdrop or format?

Yes, from the result screen: “Try another backdrop”, or switch between square and 4:5. Your item's cut-out is kept in memory, so the new result is almost instant.

Listing

Can the app get the brand or size wrong?

It never guesses them. Brand and size come from what you write or from the label photo. If they're missing, the field stays empty and says “Not specified”: tap “Edit” to add them.

Do the flaws I mention appear in the listing?

Always, and without being played down. Being upfront about flaws avoids most disputes and returns.

Why three versions of the listing?

Vinted, Leboncoin and eBay have different habits and length limits. Each platform gets its own version; switch between them with the tabs at the top of the listing.

Can I edit the generated text?

Yes: tap “Edit” at the top of the listing, make your changes, then “Save”. Your edits are kept.

What language are my listings written in?

In the language chosen in Settings › Language. You can describe the item in any of the four languages: the listing will be written in the chosen one. To sell in France, keep French.

Posting

Does the app post the listing for me?

No, never. Vinted, Leboncoin and eBay don't allow it, and you stay in control. From an item's page, choose the platform then “Post on…”: the photos are downloaded, the title is copied and the platform opens. All that's left is to paste and confirm.

Why copy the description separately?

The clipboard only holds one text at a time. Paste the title on the platform first, come back to Dressigo, click “Copy description”, then paste it.

Inventory

What are the statuses for?

Draft, For sale, Sold, Shipped, Archived: they follow each item from preparation to dispatch. Change them from the item's page.

Does “Listed on” put the listing online?

No, it's just a reminder: you note where the item is for sale. When you mark it as sold, the app reminds you to take it down from the other platforms so it doesn't sell twice.

Credits

What happens if processing fails?

You don't pay for a failed job: the credit isn't taken, or it's refunded automatically. Retrying after a network error is never charged twice.

How much does a listing cost?

Generating a listing uses 1 credit, refunded if it fails. Your balance is shown at the top of the home screen and in your account.

How do I buy credits?

From “Credits & subscription”. On the website, payment goes through Stripe, and a subscription is managed or cancelled from that same screen (“Manage my subscription”). A subscription taken out in the mobile app is managed in the App Store or Google Play.

Account

Are my photos private?

Yes. They're stored in a private space that only your account can access, and are used only to prepare your listings. Nothing is posted or shared without you doing it.

How do I switch to dark mode?

In Settings › Appearance: Light, Dark, or Auto to follow your phone's setting.
